The Problem Is You’re Lukewarm

You’re lukewarm. You have no urgency. You look in the mirror and hate the person you see because you live in a world of filters and photoshop. You chase happiness and wonder why you have no joy. You take the easy route and wonder why everything feels so hard. You seek comfort and wonder why life feels so uncomfortable. You look for the easy way and wonder why even the smallest things set you off.
Everything that goes against what you were made to be. You seek comfort in the land of discomfort. But we were made for the trial. We were made for the discomfort. We were made for the suffering. We were made to bear our cross daily. We were made to share in suffering, to be co-laborers with Christ, to understand the depth of love God can pour out for us. And then you wonder why you don’t want to get out of that big, comfy bed in the morning. Because it’s hard. Because you must put on your armor daily. Because you must get up and draw your sword for the battle at hand. While you were sleeping, the enemy, the thief, broke in. It’s time to stand up for yourself and your family. It’s time to stand on the wall and be the watchman they deserve. It’s time to have urgency. It’s time to stop being lukewarm. Because destruction doesn’t come from falling off a cliff. It doesn’t come from being hot or cold. It comes from being lukewarm. It’s the small, tiny compromises every single day. It’s that quiet negotiation with yourself until one morning you wake up and don’t even recognize who you’ve become. You’ve chased comfort so long that everything feels hard. You’ve chased happiness so long that you’ve lost all joy.
That changes today!!! STAND IN THE GAP
